Rebel Wilson Said, Sacha Baron Cohen is Attempting to Dissuade Her From Including Him in Her Memoir

Wilson, who is credited with co-starring in “The Brothers Grimsby,” posted on Instagram, “I will not be bullied or silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers.”

Actor Rebel Wilson of Australia claimed that comedian and British actor Sacha Baron Cohen is attempting to dissuade her from include a chapter on him in her autobiography.

Wilson identified her co-star from “The Brothers Grimsby” as “the a-hole” in a narrative she shared on Instagram on Sunday. Wilson will be writing about this character in her upcoming book, “Rebel Rising.”

“PR crisis managers or expensive attorneys cannot intimidate or silence me. Sacha Baron Cohen is the “a-hole” that I discuss in ONE CHAPTER of my book,” stated Wilson of the “Borat” actor.

The “Pitch Perfect” star earlier shared a video on Instagram in which she discussed her senior Hollywood colleagues and stated that they have a “no a-hole policy.”

“But then it really sunk in what they were meaning by that — older people in the industry — because I worked with a massive a–hole, and yeah, now I definitely have a ‘no a–holes policy,'” she stated in the clip. “Chapter 23 is the chapter pertaining to said a-hole. That man was an enormous a-hole.”

Cohen’s agent stated that Wilson’s assertions are “demonstrably false.”

“While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of ‘The Brothers Grimsby,'” the spokesperson told NBC News.

The 2016 film “The Brothers Grimsby” portrayed Wilson and Cohen as a couple who had nine children together.

Wilson’s autobiography will be available on April 2.
